We welcome you to the Abintra
Sauna
Saunas are a form of hydrotherapy; the therapeutic
use of moisture and temperature. They are beneficial for improving circulation,
especially if done repeatedly, followed by cold showers. The repeated
stimulation of circulation cleanses the skin and body. They warm up the
muscles, softening and making them more pliable. It is great for releasing
layers of tension and allowing massage to penetrate more fully.
Saunas cost $10 an hour for one person; $5 for an additional person.
Other individuals may be using the sauna at the same time. Our sauna is
a co-ed, clothing optional sauna. However, we ask that you cover yourself
with the towel when in the sauna with someone whom you did not come with.
Our sauna employs dry heat. However, we do have accessories that allow
you to spray or splash water onto the hot rocks. We have a shower, towels,
a few lockers and a hairdryer to serve your needs.
We advise you to consult your physician before using the sauna should
you have amedical condition.
We ask and assume that you will be respectful of others in the sauna.
We reserve the right to refuse the use of our facilities to anyone based
upon our own discretion.
Call (206) 522-9384 for us to turn the sauna on
for you and for us to show you around.
We hope you enjoy your experience.
